At least I think they're by Bob. I wondered if it might be Tom Paterson, but the lettering is much more like BD's.Random Pandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01754980381282775602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341665527709142645.post-27212891003881778092016-04-22T22:12:03.203+01:002016-04-22T22:12:03.203+01:00Wow, Bash Street Kids postcards? I think I detect the hand of Bob on a few cracking Bash Street Kids postcards (which are reprinted in the 2001 BSK summer special), I wish I could remember where I first saw them...Random Pandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01754980381282775602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341665527709142645.post-32222837455342534612014-09-19T11:00:55.133+01:002014-09-19T11:00:55.133+01:00I can't think of any others either... He work always veers brilliantly back and forth between ultra mod cute and sadistically anarchic..<br />Here are links to 2 autobiograpnical books he wrote and illustrated recently, reminices of this life growing up: they're kind of aimed at the museum gift shop market , but the art is astounding (and how many other D. C. Thomson artists got to write their own memoirs?.. I can only think of Leo Baxendale otherwise) - I'd recommend anyone interested in Dewars art order them as soon as they can! http://bobdewar.net/?page_id=81ajsmithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02826165756286974308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3341665527709142645.post-21874254031189646222014-09-19T00:16:34.027+01:002014-09-19T00:16:34.027+01:00You're spoiling us, Mr. Ambassador.
